I am planning on going live June 1st 2010. I am nervous but I got a comforting word from God this evening while at a mens worship event at my church. There were two things really, the first was to not be afraid. For the last seven months, I have been standing on the shore of an iced over lake and just putting a little pressure on the ice to see if it will crack. In the quiet of prayer and meditation tonight, God gently put it on my heart to take the step and do not fear. The other thing I was reminded of tonight is that my sins are forgiven and are cast as far as the east is from the west and if when God looks at me he does not see them, then when I look at me, I should not see them either. Easier said than done for me, but through His Grace, I am beginning to get an accurate view of myself. As Brandon Heath says in his song, "He's not finished with me yet!"
